The book "The Beetles of Reunion Island" won the 2017 Scientific Book Prize at the 19th International Island Book Fair on the island of Ouessant.
Co-published by Orphie editions and the Department via the Natural History Museum, this work presents over 750 pages the endemic beetles living in the preserved primary forests as well as those known as exotics (often stowaways on boats) installed in all the island's ecosystems.
